The do not disturb feature (DND) allows you to mute the ringer, the base, and any registered handsets at the same time. The telephone must exist in standby mode.Press & hold Practice Non Disturb on the base of operations. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the DND LED illuminates.To cancel the DND characteristic, printing Do Not Disturb again. You tin can too mute the ringer tone while the phone is ringing past pressing Do Not Disturb on the base of operations.

Silent Mode
You can silence the ringers on the base and all handsets for a specific period of time (ane to ix hours) or set the ringers to be off all the fourth dimension; the answering system answers any incoming calls without playing anything through the speaker.

With the phone in standby, press & agree Silent on any handset or on the base. The phone prompts you lot to select the number of hours (1 – 9 or Ever On) that you want information technology to stay in silent mode.
To confirm, press SILENT or only expect about 5 seconds. The phone turns on the answering arrangement and displays Silent Mode On.
Subsequently the selected number of hours, the telephone automatically exits silent way.
